Modernism, a Sentimental Myth (ICA)

Part of Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2011, Modernism, a Sentimental Myth at the ICA in London includes a walking tour, panel discussion and club night, and involves the Bartlett School of Architecture's Murray Fraser.

The event includes four artists from Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2011 whose work connects ideas of architecture and modernism, and a panel of professionals from art, architecture and urban planning.

Speakers on the panel are: Murray Fraser, professor of architecture at the Bartlett; Victoria Walsh, Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of Modern and Contemporary Culture; artist-curator Juan Bolivar; and Fay Nicolson, artist, writer and curator with an interest in the legacy of modernism.

Artists involved are: Yelena Popova, Minae Kim, Poppy Whatmoreand David Ben White.
