Support The Bartlett School of Architecture

Students watching the Open Crits 2017

UCL was founded on philanthropy and it is through the generous support of companies, friends and alumni that we can continue to enable students to make the most of their potential and to prepare for practice. Support for the School of Architecture can take the form of sponsorship – where the supporter receives advertising opportunities or services in return – or a charitable donation. We welcome amounts big and small.

Current sponsorship and donation opportunities include:

Support for students

Gifts that provide financial and professional support for students are the most purposeful and rewarding that an organisation can make to the university. Association with a named bursary or scholarship raises awareness of the company’s name, philosophy and values amongst emerging architects as they begin to forge their careers, and leads to career-long associations.

The Bartlett Promise is a long-term project to attract students from a broader range of backgrounds to tackle the lack of diversity in the built environment. The scholarships will cover students’ fees, living and study costs for the duration of their degree programmes. Recipients will also receive mentoring, personal support and careers advice throughout their studies.

Exhibitions

Our public shows of student work attract thousands of visitors and are an important milestone in the careers of our graduates. Sponsors can support the exhibition design and build, and events, including workshops, tours and receptions.

Lecture Series

The School’s well-established International Lecture Series, recently sponosred by Fletcher Priest, showcases the best of current thinking and debate in the field. We are seeking support for other series.

Publications

For three of our public exhibitions, we publish an accompanying catalogue of student work. Our Summer book is currently supported by AHMM but we are actively seeking sponsorship for our B-Pro and Autumn books.

Space

Our newly refurbished building at 22 Gordon Street, which opened in early 2017, offers opportunities to sponsor spaces, donate materials and collaborate on events.

Regular giving

Alumni and supporters are welcome to donate whatever they can afford on a regular basis.
