By the time students take the final ARB/RIBA Part 3 examination
they are required to have a minimum of 24 months approved and
monitored work experience, 12 months of which must have been gained
post-Diploma (Part 2). The Bartlett’s Stage 2 monitoring
course provides the supervision and monitoring that post-Diploma
students need to meet this requirement.
Registration on the Stage 2 course entitles students to have their
quarterly PEDR sheets signed by the Bartlett’s Stage 2 Professional
Studies Advisor (PSA) and to attend tutorials with the aim of
preparing them to take the full Part 3 course.
NB. All post-Diploma students
working in an office should register with the RIBA’s PEDR scheme and pay the RIBA’s
annual fee for this service. See http://www.pedr.co.uk for further details.
The fee for Stage 2 supervision is £250
per annum. This covers the signing of 4 quarterly PEDR sheets
and up to four tutorials with the Stage 2 PSA.
The
application for the 2011 Stage 2 course can be downloaded
here.
There is no deadline for Stage 2 supervision with applications
being accepted throughout the year.
Applications should be sent to: Professional Studies Administration,
The Bartlett School of Architecture UCL, Wates House, 22 Gordon
Street, London, WC1H 0QB
