BSc Unit 5 Marjan Colletti and Julia Backhaus

Programme 2000-01
'Man is the Measure of All Things.' Protagoras 5C BC
This year architects are world-wide celebrating Ernst Neufert's 100th birth anniversary. Since 1936 he obsessively measured, weighted and uniformed All Things surrounding his one-dimensional picture of the 'Homo Mono Normalis'.
Today his database is still accepted as the status quo for quality in life. Expanding the physical Measure of Man by its intellectual dimension, architects construct the 'Homo Stereo Normalis'.
If you do accept this basic data as common code, stop reading now!
Unit 5 will explore the abNORMality in life, focusing on the 'Homo Dolby Surrounding' and how its reality interacts with its complex environment.
