      <rss:link>http://www.bartlett.ucl.ac.uk/dpu/events/havana-transport-mobility</rss:link>
<rss:description>Cuba currently has an exceptionally low level of car
ownership, providing a unique opportunity to develop its transport system
differently from other countries, to demonstrate the
benefits of an alternative, low carbon path to create ‘liveable cities’. With
the country now undergoing profound economic and social changes, the Cuban
Ministry of Transport is collaborating with University College London to
explore the lessons of international experience that can inform today’s
strategic policy choices. This workshop brings together two visiting Cuban
researchers with British academics, consultants and practitioners to draw on
the lessons from other cities around the world to mitigate the environmental,
economic and social costs of urban transport development. </rss:description>

<rss:description> Atlas of the Unbuilt World will provide a snap-shot of the future of architecture hosting over 60 models, from nearly 40 countries. Designed by former Bartlett student, Pernilla Ohrstedt, the exhibition will showcase architectural models of future projects from around the globe by some of the most by exciting practices and emerging studios working today. The projects have been nominated by international experts including architects, academics and writers and representatives from London’s embassies and cultural institutes. As part of the exhibition a 3D printer will live-print submissions for a week at the venue; giving architects, students and designers the chance to submit their work. LIVE 3D PRINTING Between the 18-22 June we will be joined by 3Dpeasy, a London based 3D printing agency and their 3D printer Betty. 3Dpeasy will be live printing architectural models from files sent in from around the world while in residence within our exhibition. Submit your own models for printing at www.3dpeasy.com/britishcouncil or simply come to visit find out more about this fast growing process. </rss:description>
