CASA researchers Ralph Barthel, Martin de Jode and Andrew Hudson-Smith attended the recent Ubicomp 2012 Conference in Pittsburgh, PA (September 5-8), presenting their latest research from the Tales of Things and Electronic Memory (TOTeM) project.

Their conference paper, "Enhancing the 'Second-Hand' Retail Experience with Digital Object Memories" was nominated for a Best Paper award. In addition, they also presented two papers at the associated Digital Object Memories Workshop (DOMe-IoT 2012).

As well as learning about the latest advances in ubiquitous computing the CASA folk were also educated in the finer points of baseball!
