Build Your Future: an Understanding of the Construction Industry

The Bartlett School of Construction and Project Management takes part in the University of London's annual London Taster Course Programme, an event which aims to provide potential undergraduate students with a taste of life at a university in London.

Build Your Future: an Understanding of the Construction Industry provides an introduction to the construction industry and an understanding of the skills required to undertake a management career in this challenging and stimulating environment. The course includes a presentation by academics, past students and industrialists as well as a tour of the university and a visit to a construction site.

Students who obtain a place on this one-day event can choose from a variety of subjects within 22 university institutions. Courses include voice and drama, medicine and nursing, and computing and business. They allow students to experience the different teaching methods used by university academics and to gain an insight into the additional facilities available.
