Four proposals from the DPU were selected to exhibit from the 4th to 7th July in the 2012 series of Cities Methodologies organised by the UCL urban Lab.
The project Dharavi, Contested Urbanism: Mega-projects, Critical Alternative Strategies represents a culmination research, writing, and studio work produced within the DPU’s MSc BUDD course highlighting the fascinating multiplicity of the Dharavi problematic in Mumbai-India.
The short film “Tuzla: Energy Landscapes” was shot in two weeks in October 2011 with the objective of revealing the multiplicity of local perspectives on pollution and environmental justice in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The video Urban Metabolism, explores the concept through interviews with UCL-based academics who approach it from different perspectives.
“Dwell the Threshold”: an opportunity of encounter among differences This video-animation work aims at investigating the role of space in the act of the encounter with Otherness, as a catalyst for a radical social and cultural transformation of society.
