David Adams is a Director in Willmott Dixon Re-Thinking Ltd and a Director of the Zero Carbon Hub.

David was instrumental in founding the Zero Carbon Hub which oversees the delivery of Zero Carbon new homes and reports to DCLG’s 2016 Task Group.  He chaired the specialist task groups which developed the Fabric Energy Efficiency Standard and the recommendation for the maximum onsite Carbon Emissions for zero carbon homes.

He developed and promoted the ‘Pay As You Save’ low energy financing concept for upgrading the energy efficiency of existing homes which being taken forward by the Governments in the Energy Act 2011 as the ‘Green Deal’.

His role with Willmott Dixon Re-Thinking is to expand the company’s presence in low energy retrofit market including developing the company’s Green Deal offer.  In addition he leads the groups low and zero carbon new build homes and non domestic building initiatives.
