The UCL Energy Institute has another fully funded PhD studentship available in Energy for the next academic year (September 2012).
We have several potential projects on offer; the ONE studentship available will be awarded to the best applicant for any of the four projects below.
- Implications of unconventional gas in EU energy supply systems and energy security under climate constraint
- The contribution of agriculture to climate change mitigation in the UK
- The Impact of the regulatory regime on the economics of nuclear energy
- Markets for ecosystem services as an innovative instrument to compensate damages arising from large energy projects of common European interest? A legal and policy analysis

Applicants should have a UK 1st Class or 2.1 Honour's first degree in arelevant field, such as economics, environmental science, engineering, law, science or physics. Please note each project has a different personal specification.
Funding: Enhanced stipend £17,090 per annum + UK/EU fees
