The multidisciplinary
Bartlett has over 300 staff, including over 30 professors, offering expertise in almost every built
environment expertise. Architects, writers and designers work alongside project
managers, preservationists and planners, as well as economists, historians,
scientists and sociologists. We have specialists in everything from design, history and development planning, to lighting,
computer visualization and space syntax, to transport, environmental design and
sustainable development.
All of these people are engaged at the very forefront of their fields, whether in teaching, professional practice or research. Together, they constitute a true powerhouse of thinking, creating and doing, whether inspiring students, pursuing path-breaking research or helping to solve the most pressing problems of the built environment today.
