BSP Seminar Series

Kate Henderson, Chief Executive, Town and Country Planning Association

Kate Henderson came to The Bartlett two years ago, around the beginning of the Coalition Government, to speak about her views on their concept of new localism, which is likely to tremendously affect planning and urban development. One of her main concerns, and something which was shared by academics and students at The Bartlett School of Planning, was the Government's plan to abolish the regional tier. Two years later, many of the Coalition Government's plans to change planning were realised. The Bartlett School of Planning has asked Kate to come back and speak about the Town and Country Planning Association's view on these changes.
