New Appointments for the Bartlett School of Planning

Five new academic appointments are announced by the Bartlett School of Planning.

Five new academic appointments have been made in the Bartlett School of Planning.  Professor John Tomaney (currently University of Newcastle) and Professor Pat McAllister (currently University of Reading) will take up chairs in Urban and Regional Planning and in Real Estate, respectively, on 1 September 2012.  Dr Qiulin Ke (currently Nottingham Trent University) will join the School as Senior Lecturer in Real Estate on the same day.  Dr Catalina Turcu and Elena Besussi (both already in BSP) have been appointed Lecturer in Sustainable Urbanism and Teaching Fellow in Plan Making, and will also take up their posts in September.

This is a significant and exciting expansion for the School and is accompanied by an expansion of teaching programmes: notably our new BSc Planning and Real Estate from 2012/13 and further MSc programmes in the following year: MSc Housing Development and MSc Transport and City Planning.
