Careers in Sustainable Resources Workshop

Considering a career in natural resources or sustainability? This event gives UCL students access to some of the worlds largest resource-related firms and an opportunity to find out more about some of their potential career paths.

This event is open to UCL final year undergraduate students and postgraduate students considering careers in sustainability, the environment and/or natural resources, and is likely to be of particular interest to engineering, natural and physical sciences students.

Six lead organisations in sustainability will present, answer questions and take part in a 'speed networking' session; a chance to engage with the organisations in small discussion groups.

Arup A multinational company which provides engineering, design, planning, project management and consulting services for all aspects of the built environment.

BHP Billiton The largest mining company in the world with headquarters in Australia and management offices in London.

Deloitte One of the largest consultancy companies in the UK with a growing interest in sustainability.

Department of Energy and Climate Change The British Government's department responsible for energy and climate change.

Forum for the Future An NGO leading in finding solutions to global challenges, focusing on food, energy and finance.

Unilever One of the world's largest consumer goods company.

The event is open to pre-registered delegates only and places are limited, available through on-line registration.
